There are several inferior repair tapes on the market and they should be avoided. The determining factor in the quality of a repair tape is thickness (or gauge) and dielectric strength, which refers to its ability to insulate.
FixAll Tape is extruded of high performance silicone. It is self-adhering and self-fusing, it cures and sets at room temperature. With over 300% elongation and 700 psi. in tensile strength, FixAll tape is suited for those though jobs. Its low water absorbtion rate and low cold brittle point (-65°C) give our silicone tape long lasting bonding and ensures the repair goes the distance.
Cheaper, inferior tapes, are not nearly as strong because they are thinner. And that's because the virgin material used in the manufacturing process is expensive and cost cutting is achieved by using less of it. FixAll tape is a superior product, produced to be the best repair tape in the world; literally a cut above the rest.
Fixall Tape works by fusion; it welds or fuses to itself as it is stretched and wrapped around an object, or surface. For a closer look at how it works, we've posted a video demo on YouTube.
The manufacture process of the FixAll Tape meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 and the SGS ISO 9001:2000 (China) Quality Management System accreditation.
